Event Details: The Petoskey Chamber is hosting a Walkabout Wednesday with Camp Daggett located at 03001 Church Road, Petoskey on Wednesday, May 8 from 8am to 10am. Walkabout Wednesday is a new, free way to get to know area businesses in a casual meet and greet format. Guests will be offered a unique opportunity to learn more about Camp Daggett. Camp Daggett's Adventure Education staff will be present to share about work teambuilding opportunities. Camp Daggett is a lot more than a summer camp, and the team is thrilled to share details about what else there is to offer on beautiful Walloon Lake. Guests can enjoy breakfast munchies, sweet and savory and coffee. Feel free to drop in anytime between 8am and 10am. Event Details: Corporate Cup Challenge – Get Your Team of Four Signed Up Are you ready for some fun? The Petoskey Chamber announces the May 9 Corporate Cup Challenge, from 1-4pm at Emmet County Community Building. This will involve office related challenges with a twist. Lots of laughs are sure to be had by the participants and this will be a great team building experience. There will be a Walmart Opening Ceremony to introduce the teams and provide an award for best team cheer. There will be an award for best team theme and dress. Here are the challenges: Grandpa Shorter’s Heads or Tails – teams try their luck with a [censored] of a coin to win $100 in gift cards. OfficeMax Office Chair Relay – teams navigate office chair through office related obstacle course. Pet Pantry People Agility Course – Teams compete for fastest time completing a modified dog agility course. McCardel Culligan Water Cooler Relay – teams race in a contest to move glasses of water to their final destination. Harbor Brenn Insurance Agencies Human Hungry Hippo Race – teams try to capture as many dropped balls as they can, with one team member on a scooter board on their stomach trying to capture balls and other team member holding their legs to direct. Walmart Musical Chairs Challenge - Oh yes, the good old musical chairs challenge. We will have some great tunes from Parker Marshall Entertainment. You know the drill - the last one sitting wins. The Corporate Cup Challenge costs $100 for a team of four and also a donation of a $25 gift card to a local business. The team of four can be made up of people from one business or different businesses. This challenge will be limited to 24 teams, so register your spot today. Registration closes at 5pm, Friday, May 3. Prizes will be awarded for first ($200 in gift cards), second ($100 in gift cards) and for third and last place. If you aren't participating, we invite you to come cheer on the teams. If you want to do a $5 donation, we will put all donations towards scholarships for Leadership Little Traverse.
