Training

Marketing 301 - An Introduction to Real Estate Practice
Real Estate One Academy believes the Marketing Course provides an agent with the equivalent of 2-3 years of sales experience. You will learn everything from A-Z: how to meet with buyers/sellers, write purchase offers, list homes for sale, professional protocol, rules, ethical behavior, and how to grow and establish your permanent real estate business with the preferred broker and leader of training in Michigan - Real Estate One. This course is offered as a 10 day course in Southfield at REO Headquarters or can be tailored to your area and offered off site.

Senior Housing Specialist designation
8 hour course on working with an aging population and their unique needs in real estate. The SHS designation is conferred for use in marketing and promotion.

Technology

Technology is changing the face of the real estate business faster than even most larger companies can adjust. Real Estate One devotes a considerable amount of time and energy to understanding and implementing state of the art technology resources available to the real estate community. Some of those programs developed for and used by our franchisees include:

  • RealEstateOne.com and reomich.com - Web sites devoted to the promotion of company and franchise property listings and driving leads directly to agents and brokers. These sites receive over 150,000 unique visitors per month.

  • Buyer Migration Trend web tool - Designed to illustrate exactly where buyers come from for your sellers and to demonstrate your unique marketing efforts.

  • CD-Rom Sellers Presentations - Agent listing tool for use on a laptop or customers desktop computer the promotes the professionalism of REO agents.

  • Information Technology Department - Full time staffed department of dedicated individuals available to answer most all technology related questions.

Networking

One of our roles as franchisor is to provide a framework which permits you to be perceived as and act as a larger entity. Participation in meetings allows you to interact with other members of the Real Estate One Franchise Network. Such participation in "networking" activities is vital to gaining maximum benefit from your franchise affiliation.

Awards and Recongnition

There are no better networking opportunities than those where you have an opportunity to recognize the performance of your key associates and share success stories with other franchise owners.

The Real Estate One Franchise Awards Dinner is held early each year and offers an opportunity to recognize associates in categories like "Outstanding Lister" and sales volume awards. Franchises are also honored with awards like "Affiliate of the Year", "Business Builder Award", "President's Award for Excellence" and others.

Communication

The Real Estate One Franchise Advisory Board consists of one franchisee representative from each franchise region and one member at large chosen by the franchisors and one member of the Franchise Group management team. This committee meets several times annually and helps direct the activities of the Franchise Group of Real Estate One.

Franchisees receive a monthly newsletter, flyers, announcements, a Sourcebook reference binder, office roster and more information to keep ahead of the fast pace of change.

Each fall the Real Estate One Franchising Annual Retreat is held to present the next year's programs and information to franchisees and engage in educational opportunities while enjoying a social agenda among your peer group.
